For me, dog training is about so much more than teaching dogs to follow cues. It’s about connection, communication and understanding the dog in front of you, while building practical skills that make everyday life together easier and more enjoyable.
My approach is reward-based, welfare-led and grounded in current evidence, with your dog’s emotional and physical wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.
Every dog is an individual. Their personality, experiences, environment and what they find rewarding all influence how they learn, which is why I believe in a bespoke approach. Instead, we work with the dog in front of us — giving them choices, listening to what they’re communicating and making adjustments where needed.
Training should feel safe, achievable and enjoyable for both ends of the lead. We’ll use reinforcement, play, movement and real-life rewards to build skills while supporting confidence, emotional regulation and your relationship together.
There’s no expectation for perfection. We’ll work at your dog’s pace, celebrate the little wins and give you the tools to continue learning together beyond our sessions.
Kind to dogs. Practical for humans. Built for real life.

Everyday Dogs
Everyday Dogs is a six-week training course designed to help you build practical, everyday skills while developing a better understanding of the dog in front of you.
We’ll work on the things that genuinely matter in day-to-day life — engagement, loose lead walking, recall, working around distractions, confidence, body awareness and regulation — but this isn’t six weeks of walking around a hall practising “heel”.
Instead, we’ll use games, movement, play, choice and different types of reinforcement to make training something both you and your dog can enjoy.
A big part of Everyday Dogs is learning about your individual dog. What do they find rewarding? What does regulation look like for them? When are they ready to learn? When might we need to add some distance, lower the difficulty, change the environment or approach something differently?
There’s no expectation for every dog to work in the same way or progress at the same pace. We’ll work with the dog in front of us, make adjustments where necessary and celebrate the little wins along the way.
The aim is to build useful skills that translate beyond the training hall, while helping you create a reinforcement history that makes choosing to work with you genuinely worthwhile.
And Everyday Dogs doesn’t have to end after six weeks. We have created a community where people can continue learning and enjoying training with their dogs in real world environments.
Training doesn’t need to be about perfection. It can become a hobby, a community and something you genuinely enjoy doing together.
